Carl D. Herbein, CPA developed an interest in dairy very young as he grew up and worked on his parents’ dairy farm. Since founding the firm in 1972, Carl has served as Partner-in-charge of services for Herbein’s dairy clients.
He has visited and provided services to more than 150 dairy processing facilities of all types and sizes.
Carl leads the Herbein team of experienced dairy accounting and professionals in providing services to a nationwide group of clients including large multi-plant and small niche dairies including fluid milk, frozen desserts, cultured products, and cheese. Carl spent more than 14,500 hours of time in personally preparing for and testifying at over 138 Pennsylvania Milk Marketing Board price hearings since 1976. He also is a frequent speaker at national dairy industry meetings.
Carl enjoys playing racquet sports and spending time with his family at their retreat in Avalon, NJ.
