David Schwab joined Herbein as a consultant in Herbein’s on demand accounting + audit services practice in 2023.
The ODAAS team focuses on providing outsourced controller and high-level business and accounting consulting designed to strengthen finance teams that do not have a full-time CFO/ controller on staff - or when their internal CFO/ controller needs a support team for interim projects.
With more than 20 years of public experience, David began his professional career with audit engagements, before joining a firm that specialized in controller for hire services for a multitude of organizations. He enjoys helping business owners gain access to more reliable and meaningful financial information, and most recently has specialized in process and workflow development, adapting to the needs of the clients’ unique situations.
Outside Herbein, David enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, and volunteering for the Girl Scouts of Western PA with his wife.
