None of us sit high enough to look down on anybody.

Mary Jo Wright joined Herbein HR Consulting in 2000. She’s an experienced human resource professional with over 25 years in the field and has held multiple level management positions in both the financial and healthcare industries.

Prior to joining our team, Mary Jo was VP of Human Resources at a premier regional financial institution. She was responsible for all aspects of the HR function, including orientations, benefits, employee relations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) compliance, recruiting, payroll oversight, and 401(k) plan administration. Mary Jo worked with actuaries in plan design and plan terminations. Additionally, she created job descriptions, employee handbooks, AAP, and salary administration programs.

For our clients, in addition to HR generalists responsibilities, Mary Jo has focused on total compensation, including salary administration, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance, benefits administration, and HR audits.

Outside of work,  MaryJo enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, being outdoors, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Herbein HR Consulting is a division of Herbein + Company, Inc., formed in 2021 when Mosteller & Associates joined Herbein.
