As a tax intern, your internship will encompass a variety of different things. You will be a welcomed member of our tax department and be included in our firm staff meetings and activities. Your responsibilities may include any of the following:
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns
- Preparation of individual tax returns
- Interpret raw data from client’s files and input into tax software
- Prepare and maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedule
- Work with federal government forms in tax system
Upon starting you will receive comprehensive training from Herbein tax professionals. You will report directly to a tax supervisor but will have full access to all levels within the firm, including partners – for any questions.
