Impact of Coronavirus on Retirement Plans
The U.S. stock market has entered an ongoing period of volatility as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic — and these wild swings have eroded the value of Americans’ retirement accounts and engendered a great deal of anxiety.

Inside the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act are several provisions that cover retirement accounts that may provide some financial relief to savers and investors.

This webinar, presented jointly by Herbein and Fragasso Advisors, will help plan sponsors and employers understand key retirement plan provisions under the CARES Act.  Plan sponsors, employers and participants will gain a clearer understanding of the Act’s implications for tax planning strategies and what it means for accessing retirement accounts.

Impact of Coronavirus on Retirement Plans will cover:

The CARES ACT and retirement plan aspects – to include:

  • Overview of special distribution options and rollover rules
  • Reporting these distributions on your tax return
  • Employer options when it comes to reducing or eliminating contributions to retirement plans
  • Overview of discretionary contributions, Safe Harbor contributions and non-safe harbor mandatory contributions

PRESENTERS
