A Herbein partner, Jeanettee M. Hassis, CPA, has enjoyed serving closely held businesses, their owners, and high-net-worth families for over 25 years. Jeanettee has extensive federal, state, and local tax experience working with corporations, partnerships, individuals, non-profits, private foundations, estates, and trusts, including multi-state and tiered structures.

She has been instrumental in assisting clients at every stage of their business and personal life with timely tax, succession, estate planning, and compliance. During her career, Jeanettee has focused her practice on client industries that include real estate, hospitality, investment companies, and service providers.

Outside Herbein, Jeanettee is dedicated to the accounting profession and her community. She served on the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Relations with Colleges and Schools Committee for over 20 years. Additionally, she has a long history of providing internal training to accounting professionals on tax law changes and year-end planning, as well as to outside organizations and business groups throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Jeanettee has also served in various leadership roles with professional networking, veterans', and religious organizations and was recognized as a member of the inaugural “40 Under 40: PICPA Members to Watch” class.

Jeanettee enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, their parents, siblings, and 21 (and counting) nieces and nephews. She also enjoys trying new foods, cooking, baking, gardening, and traveling.
