How did you first decide on the accounting field? I followed the lead of my father, who was an accountant at the Post Office and I enjoyed numbers.
Who is the most influential person in your life and why? My parents - work ethic and quiet resolve from my father and curiosity and social awareness from my mother.
What is your favorite client experience? Discovering or developing tax savings ideas - such as an IC-DISC for exporters or S corp subsidiaries to reduce PA taxes - and assisting with the implementation.
What would you like to be remembered for? Being a good listener and having intellectual curiosity.
What would you tell a brand new college graduate trying to get a job in accounting? Get a good broad understanding of all aspects of accounting and then, if possible, develop a marketable specialty.
What is something not many people know about you? I have been to over 100 Shakespeare plays and once joined my daughter in a performance of "15 Minute Hamlet"

What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time? Being with my wife and daughter, exercising, reading and cooking.
What is your guilty pleasure? Good podcasts and craft beer in moderation, not necessarily in that order.
