Herbein Appoints Rachel Bashore As Director Of Operations And Strategic Initiatives
In a newly created role, Bashore will focus on the firm’s strategic direction, operational efficiency, and streamlining business processes.
READING, PA (August 19, 2023) --- Herbein + Company, Inc. (Herbein), a leading CPA advisory firm, has appointed Rachel Bashore, Esq. as director of operations and strategic initiatives. In this newly created role, Bashore will help drive the firm’s strategic direction, by leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, and streamlining business processes to benefit Herbein clients and team members.
Bashore will serve as an advisor to the firm partnership and leadership team, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable and qualitative plans aligned to the firm’s strategic plan. An attorney, Bashore will also serve as Herbein’s in-house legal counsel, providing important oversight of the firm’s M&A strategic execution.

Prior to joining Herbein, Rachel served as chief operating officer of a hybrid RIA and platform for financial advisors and insurance agents, where she oversaw day-to-day operations and implemented new services, products, and technology-enabled tools. Earlier in her career, Rachel served as a key partner in fintech white-label product development and risk management, was the chief operating officer of a community bank, and practiced law with a focus on corporate matters and litigation. She also served as an adjunct professor of business law at Alvernia University.
Bashore has also served as a past president, member of Greater Reading Young Professionals, and a board member with Berks Economic Partnership. Bashore’s appointment to this newly created role underscores Herbein’s commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing, sustainable growth.
