Cynthia Tonet-Stewart joins Herbein + Company, Inc. as Director of Business Development
(READING, PA – September 11, 2024) – Award-winning CPA advisory firm Herbein + Company, Inc. (Herbein) is pleased to announce that Cynthia Tonet-Stewart has joined the firm as Director of Business Development. With over 25 years of professional services industry experience, and as a key member of Herbein’s executive leadership team, Tonet-Stewart will drive firmwide growth, by identifying, developing, and executing new business opportunities and nurturing relationships both with clients and centers of influence.

Tonet-Stewart has consistently driven strategic growth, led successful marketing initiatives, and developed robust business development strategies across multiple markets and industries. Prior to joining Herbein, Tonet-Stewart directed firmwide business development and marketing at McDonald Hopkins, where she advanced the firm’s business development culture and function, spearheaded events recognized as premier networking opportunities and led a website redesign that won multiple awards. Before that, she advanced Mackrell International’s brand and strengthened network relationships and referrals. Her impressive career also includes leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Clark Hill and Thorp Reed & Armstrong.

Tonet-Stewart holds a B.S. in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Instruction and Learning from the University of Pittsburgh, and a M.S. Ed., in Community/Clinical Counseling from Duquesne University.
