Herbein Mourns the Passing of Dairy Advisory Services Leader Jed Davis

Herbein + Company, Inc. (Herbein) is heartbroken to announce the unexpected death of Jed Davis, dairy advisory services leader, on August 19, 2023.

Herbein CEO David Stonesifer said, “We are profoundly saddened by the sudden passing of our friend and colleague Jed Davis. The entire Herbein organization mourns his tragic loss. While he was a visionary leader of our dairy advisory practice, he was most importantly, a devoted husband and father. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife, Bridget, and daughter Logan, who meant the world to him.”

Davis joined Herbein in 2021, and prior to joining Herbein, he held progressive roles at the largest dairy subsidiary company in the United States. During his time at Herbein, Davis directed and oversaw the dairy advisory practice in serving the strategic, financial, and operational needs of dairy industry clients. 

“Jed made an indelible mark on so many through his calm and steady presence, his loyalty, his integrity, and his kindness. Jed always put people first, and he was dedicated to the success of his team, and to everyone at Herbein. As we mourn his passing, we will always remember his legacy of compassion and generosity—both as a leader and a friend. We will greatly miss his presence in our lives,” Stonesifer said.
