Herbein Announces Kyle D. Levengood as Partner
Levengood Named Partner at Herbein + Company, Inc.
Kyle D. Levengood, CPA, CFE was promoted to Partner at Herbein + Company, Inc. effective October 1, 2019.
Kyle becomes the seventh new partner in the past three years for Herbein, a trend which bodes well for the firm, as Managing Partner Michael J. Rowley, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFF explains.
As a partner within Herbein’s auditing and accounting group, Kyle is responsible for overseeing firm audits from start to finish by working closely with clients and Herbein team members throughout every step of the engagement. He works primarily within the dairy, food and beverage, manufacturing and distribution, and employee benefit plan industries throughout more than ten states. In addition to his client responsibilities, internally Kyle is the Accounting and Auditing Quality Control Partner for Herbein. This means that he works closely with Herbein partners and staff to provide leadership for the ever-increasing complexities of financial transactions and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) standards. He also oversees internal inspections and implementation of new accounting standards. Currently, he is working with clients that will need to adopt the new leasing standard on January 1, 2020 (potentially delayed until 2021). He has been tirelessly educating local community business leaders on what this new pronouncement will entail.
“Kyle is a great example of a young professional forging a unique career path at Herbein + Company, Inc. Kyle joined us after graduating from Alvernia University, and his technical knowledge quickly gained him a great reputation among our clients and within our firm. As Herbein continues to grow and expand, his role for Quality Control becomes more vital and more challenging. Kyle has been able to rise to this challenge while also developing Herbein’s plans for new accounting pronouncements. It’s gratifying to see Kyle’s career thrive, as it is absolutely necessary for any firm to successfully develop and retain exceptional talent. We are proud to welcome Kyle to the partner group at Herbein.” - Michael J. Rowley, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFF
