EIDL Application Deadline is December 31, 2021

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) had strongly recommended that businesses seeking a Supplemental Targeted Advance submit their application no later than Dec. 10, 2021.  However, the agency will continue to process Supplemental Targeted Advance applications submitted until December 31, 2021.  New applications must be received by December 31, 2021.  For previously declined applications, reconsiderations and appeals must be received within six months of the original notice that the loan was declined.

Time is of the essence, as applications received close to that date might not complete the review process in time.  EIDL loans will be distributed until program funds are exhausted. For borrowers, the window for requesting increases of the eligible loan amount is two years after the loan origination date.  The caveat is that once funds are exhausted, the program will end.
