[READING, PA] – [May 6, 2025] – Herbein + Company, Inc. proudly announces that CEO David W. Stonesifer, CPA has been installed as the 2025-2026 President of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), one of the oldest and largest state CPA organizations in the United States.
The installation ceremony took place May 6, at the organization’s 128th annual meeting in Philadelphia, where Stonesifer accepted the position in front of colleagues, industry leaders, and PICPA members from across the state.
"I am deeply honored to serve as PICPA president and look forward to working with our talented membership to address the evolving challenges and opportunities facing our profession," said Stonesifer.
With over 30 years of professional experience-including 17 in senior leadership at Herbein-Stonesifer brings significant expertise to this leadership role. As Herbein’s CEO since 2019, Stonesifer has guided the firm to impressive growth, including international expansion. His service to PICPA includes tenure as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

During his one-year term, Stonesifer will lead initiatives focused on expanding the pipeline of accounting talent, and enhancing the value PICPA brings to its members. He will also represent PICPA at various industry events and in discussions with regulatory bodies.
