Thought Leadership: “Empowering Your Employees with Training and Learning Opportunities”
As organizations navigate the pandemic – and chart their path ahead – employees must be able to access the very latest in learning to facilitate their growth.
Companies that consistently re-evaluate their capabilities in this area will emerge from the crisis even stronger. At the same time, framing it in the context of organizational workplace culture, and its core values, is vital. At Herbein, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and engaging workplace that guides, unites, and inspires our team members to excel - together.
Senior Manager Amanda Jackowski, CPA and Senior Accountant Isaiah E. Bailey presented “Empowering Your Employees with Training and Learning Opportunities” at the 2020 Accounting & Finance Show (AFS) on October 21. Jackowski and Bailey examined the impact of employee communication on workplace culture, the importance of meaningful and rewarding diversity and inclusion strategies, and innovative learning experiences geared toward technology-based work productivity.
The AFS is the country’s largest – and free – accounting & finance conference and exhibition. Close to 10,000 attendees took part in the show, which is the flagship event for accounting and finance industry professionals to access world class, scalable, and mobile ideas. The AFS offered networking and business development opportunities, expert speakers on accounting, bookkeeping, HCM, wealth management and tax prep, and live online technology demos.
