Herbein announces the promotion of Laurel E. Cline to chief executive officer of Herbein | Mosteller HR Consulting. Cline succeeds founder and CEO Chester (Chet) Mosteller, who retires on June 30. Cline has been a vital member of the firm for over 25 years.
Herbein | Mosteller HR Consulting is a division of Herbein + Company, Inc., formed in 2021 when Mosteller & Associates joined Herbein.
In her new role, Cline will have overall responsibility for the management of Herbein | Mosteller HR Consulting, including continuing to manage client projects and relationships in her primary areas of expertise of compensation, HR policies and procedures, employee investigations, organizational development, and HR outsourcing, managing the firm’s consultants, monitoring project results, as well as business development.

Prior to joining Herbein | Mosteller HR Consulting, Cline had over 13 years of comprehensive HR management/HR operations experience including compensation, employee engagement, succession planning, and HR Best practices within the financial services and manufacturing industries. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Speech Communication, Cline is also a graduate of PA Bankers Association of Intermediate School of Banking, a member of WorldatWork, and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Cline is actively involved in the community and serves as a long-time Board member of Family Guidance Center, a local not-for-profit.
