READING, PA (July 29, 2024) — Award-winning CPA advisory firm Herbein + Company, Inc. is pleased to announce that Kristine (Kris) Bashore has joined the firm as Vice President and Practice Lead on Herbein’s HR consulting team.
In this role, Bashore will manage the team’s HR operations and strategy group, and focus on strategic planning and project management initiatives centered on human resources, organizational and leadership development, and marketing. With more than 30 years of wide-ranging HR leadership experience, she is a valuable addition to the firm.

Prior to joining Herbein, Bashore served for more than 23 years at Caron Treatment Centers, a leading, internationally recognized non-profit dedicated to addiction and behavioral healthcare treatment, research, prevention, and addiction medicine education. In her final position as Caron’s chief operating officer, she led day-to-day operations, overseeing human resources, training, professional development, quality, compliance, risk management, admissions, facilities, regional services, marketing, and business development.
Earlier in her career, Bashore held senior management positions in human resources with a pharmaceutical company and a regional financial institution.
Bashore holds a BA in Economics from East Stroudsburg University and is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is also an active member of SHRM.
