Amanda D. Jackowski began her career as an intern in the tax department with Herbein + Company, Inc. in January 2010. Upon graduation from Kutztown University, she joined the firms audit department. Amanda is currently a Senior Manager in the Accounting and Auditing Department. During her years with Herbein, Amanda has gained valuable experience of auditing accounting records, preparing financial statements, reviewing internal controls, and mentorship of co-workers.
Amanda works with a variety of clients, primarily in the agribusiness space, including cooperatives, dairies, nonprofits, and manufacturing entities. She leads audit teams for several of Herbein’s largest clients with revenues in excess of $1 billion.
Amanda has embraced her role of Senior Manager within the firm. She has developed a strong sense of leadership and involvement in the betterment of her firm. Internally she is head of the Events Committee (Reading Office), and feels strongly about making the overall Herbein experience positive for employees to enjoy what they do and where they work.
Externally, you can often find Amanda visiting local universities, as she is currently the head of recruitment at Herbein. She has conducted first and second round interviews at numerous universities for both the Reading and Spring House offices. Additionally, she represents and coordinates the firms participation at various college campus networking events and job fairs.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys cooking for friends and family and finds it most relaxing to curl up with a glass of pinot noir and read a good book. Amanda is also an avid fan of spin class, a good thriller, and her two tuxedo cats.
