May 2016 Herbein Hero - Pennsylvania SPCA

May 30, 2016

Herbein is pleased to announce the Pennsylvania SPCA as the recipient of the May Herbein Community Heroes Award.

The mission of the Pennsylvania SPCA is to protect animals, prevent cruelty and improve the health and quality of life for animals in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania SPCA is the second humane organization founded in the United States and is the largest and most comprehensive in Pennsylvania. They have been the leading advocate for animals in the region since 1867.

The $500 Herbein Community Hero award will be put to use by funding the Humane Law Enforcement department to protect animals throughout Pennsylvania, as well as to the Shelter Hospital, where the animals are rehabilitated and ultimately adopted.

The Herbein team thanks Hampton Community Library for their commitment to serving the children of Hampton Township all year long.
