+ Nonprofit & Government

You need an advisor who understands the unique challenges you face in this sector, and has the skill and expertise to provide the guidance and advice that is necessary to ensure your success.

Our audit clients include many government and nonprofit entities, including, intermediate units, public and private schools, foundations, college organizations and their related foundations. Many of these organizations receive Local, State, and Federal funds in addition to private contributions and investment income. We have performed examinations in compliance with Standards for Audit of Governmental Organizations, Programs, Activities and Functions; the Single Audit Act of 1984; and by provisions contained in OMB Circular A-133 Audits, Audits of Institutions of Higher Education and other Nonprofit Organizations.

In addition to auditing various government and nonprofit entities, we’ve provided leadership on the boards of school district/government/nonprofit entities. We also have individuals who serve on both local and state committees. All of this assists our clients and firm personnel by having access to both recent changes in accounting and auditing regulations and new and/or pending legislation at the state and federal levels.

One of our strengths is the management advisory experience we can bring to your organization. Services include special operational audits, merger and acquisition consulting, employee benefit consulting services, pension and profit sharing plan auditing, as well as computer consulting. We also provide a quarterly newsletter for our non-profit organizations which includes informative articles to assist your organization.
